 Connection First Therapy's Values

Play with Purpose

Play is the primary occupation for children. Through play, children explore, learn, and develop the skills they need to thrive.

Caregiver Empowerment

Caregiver involvement is essential to a child’s progress. We collaborate closely and work together to identify strategies, overcome barriers, and provide caregivers the tools they need to feel confident applying therapeutic strategies everyday.

Naturalistic Environment

We believe that therapy should occur where children naturally live, play, and learn. This supports the ability to identify strategies that are meaningful, practical, and easily carried over into daily routines.

Connection Focused

Connection and relationships are the foundation for growth. Through relationships children are able to build trust, develop a healthy sense of self, and feel secure to explore their world with confidence and safety.
